Yerlan Islyamovich Medeubaev is the Head of the Department of the History of Socio-economic Development of Kazakhstan.
In 1995 he graduated from the Faculty of History of Aktobe Pedagogical Institute, in 1999 he completed full-time postgraduate studies at the Kazakh National University named after al–Farabi at the Department of Modern and Contemporary History of Kazakhstan, specialty 07.00.02 – National History. Candidate of Historical Sciences (1999), thesis topic: “The policy of war communism in Kazakhstan (1918-1921).”
In 2013, Visiting Scholar (Visiting Researcher) at the Department of History Lingnan University (Hong Kong).
In 2006, he was awarded a Letter of Appreciation from the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2021, he was awarded the badge “Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan” for special services in the field of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Research interests: History of Kazakhstan of the twentieth century (source studies, historiography and methodology of the History of Kazakhstan), problems of historical memory policy and memorial culture, museums and museum business.

Kuanyshev Zhapsarbai Ilyasovich is the Chief researcher at the Institute of State History of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 1979, he graduated from the Kazakh Pedagogical Institute named after Abai with a degree in history and social studies.
In 1982-1986, he completed an internship and studied at the graduate school of the Institute of History of the USSR of the USSR Academy of Sciences, and in 1987 he defended his PhD thesis in Moscow on the topic “Activities of rural and village Councils of the Kazakh SSR (1966-1975)”.
Doctor of political science. In 2001, the dissertation on the topic “Kazakhstan in public and political life of modern Kazakhstan”was defended.
There is a learned name of the former scientific scientist (Diploma of the vak USSR).
The Labor path began in 1979 as a laboratory assistant at the Institute of history, archeology and Ethnography of the Kazakh SSR named Ch.Ch. Valikhanova, where he went to the senior scientific associate and study Secretary (1979-1992).

He was awarded the orders “Parasat” and “Kurmet”, the medal “for Valiant labor”, numerous Jubilee medals, awarded medals “Golden Leopard” (2009, 2014), “for impeccable service”, “the best civil servant”, “honorary worker of Education”, “for merits in the development of science”. He is an academician of the Academy of history and public science.

Khasenova Nurbanu Nurkhatovna is a senior researcher at the IOSH “Institute of State History” of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2007, she graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University with a degree in Management. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Economics from the same faculty in 2009, having defended her master’s thesis on: “Management of the agro-industrial complex in the West Kazakhstan region and its improvement”.
From 2007 to 2011, she was engaged in teaching at the same university at the Department of Economics and Enterprise Organization as a teacher, senior lecturer in subjects such as Enterprise Economics, Business Planning, Agricultural Economics, etc. She developed educational and methodological complexes in supervised disciplines, participated in scientific research- methodical work of the department as a member of the methodological commission on the specialty, participated in career guidance work with schoolchildren, supervised and participated in educational work with students.
From 2011 to 2016, she worked as the head of the laboratory of the Department of Engineering Graphics and Applied Mechanics of the Almaty Technological University and was engaged in assisting the faculty of the department in the implementation of the educational process, scientific and organizational work, record keeping at the department according to the nomenclature of cases and instructions on record keeping, managing the work of engineers and laboratory staff of the department.
From 2016 to 2018, she worked as the chief economist of the KGKP “Theater of Traditional Art “Alatau” of the Department of Culture and Archives of the city of Almaty. From 2018 to 2022, she worked as the Deputy director for the administrative and economic part of the same organization.
In 2023, continuing his scientific activities, he enters the doctoral program in Economics at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The topic of the doctoral thesis is “The strategy of the creative economy development and assessment of its impact on the economic growth of Kazakhstan”.
He is the author of articles on the creative economy, publishes in the journals of the Scopus database, journals recommended by the International Scientific and Practical Council, and participates in scientific and practical conferences. He is the co-author of the collective monograph “Turkestan – the spiritual center of sovereign Kazakhstan: history and modernity.”

Rustem Kuandykovich Dosmurzinov is a junior researcher at the Department of Socio–Economic Development of Kazakhstan at the Russian State Research Institute of State History of the National Academy of Economic Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He was born on April 7, 1995 in the city of Akmola (now Astana). Since childhood, he attended a music school, took part in various international, city and district Olympiads on the history of Kazakhstan, world history, law, Russian and Kazakh languages.
In 2012, he graduated from Gymnasium No. 31 in Astana in a class with a mathematical bias. In the same year, he enrolled in the specialty “Archeology and Ethnology” of the Faculty of Social Sciences (since 2013 – the Faculty of History) of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. During his studies, he participated in national and university scientific events – conferences, competitions, and clubs. The topic of the thesis is “The problem of the traditional life support system of Kazakhs in the works of A.N. Bukeikhanov.” In 2016, he graduated with honors.
Further, he continued his studies under the two-degree master’s degree program “Archeology and Ethnology” and “History” between the Eurasian National University and Novosibirsk State University. The scientific supervisor of the master’s thesis was the famous historian and ethnographer, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, leading researcher at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography SB RAS I.V. Oktyabrskaya. In 2018, he defended his master’s thesis at NSU and ENU on the topic “Modern Kazakhstan: the ethnosocial nature of urbanization” and received honors diplomas.
In 2018, he was hired as a lecturer at the Department of Archeology and Ethnology at the ENU Faculty of History. In 2019, he was the Chief specialist of the Strategic Planning Department of the ENU Department of Strategic Development, a leading researcher at the Humanitarian Research Department of the Abai Academy Research Institute. In 2023, he completed his doctoral studies in Archeology and Ethnology at the L.N. Gumilyov ENU. During his doctoral studies, he completed professional internships at the Miklukho-Maklay Institute of Ethnology of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Lomonosov Moscow State University (2022). Rustem Kuandykovich Dosmurzinov’s field of research is related to the ethnography of the Kazakh people – pre-Muslim religious beliefs, customs and traditions.
Since 2024, R.K. Dosmurzinov has been working at the Institute of State History in the Department of the History of Socio-Economic Development of Kazakhstan. He deals with issues of economic transformation in Kazakhstan, economic anthropology.
He speaks Russian, Kazakh, English and Hungarian. He was awarded a certificate of appreciation from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2025).
