On January 8, 2024, an expert discussion was held in Astana in the format of a round table “Fair Kazakhstan in the 21st century: new achievements and development prospects”, dedicated to the interview of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the newspaper Egemen Qazaqstan dated January 3, 2024. The organizers of the event were: The Institute of State History of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Akimat of Astana. Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurtaza Samat Ruslanovich delivered a welcoming speech. Presentations were made by the director of the Institute of the History of the State, PhD Pusyrmanov Nurbek Serikuly, Acting Director of the Scientific Institute for the Study of the Ulus of Jochi Sabitov Zhaksylyk Muratovich. The discussions were attended by employees of domestic analytical structures, such as the KISI under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakhstan Institute of Social Development, the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Studies, the Institute of Eurasian Integration, the Institute of State History, as well as representatives of civil society. In their theses, the experts noted that the main messages from the interview of the Head of State are relevant among the population and fully reflect the current modernization agenda. Thus, the head of the Department of Scientific and Theoretical analysis and methodological support of the Institute of Eurasian Integration, Ph.D. Arman Eshmuratov emphasized the need for high-quality expert content in the new discourse of Fair Kazakhstan. Head of the Strategic Analysis Department of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KISI) Yermek Toktarov drew attention to the further strengthening of political institutions and the importance of active political participation of the population in the sustainable development of the country. In her speech, Director of the Center of the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Studies Ayaulym Sagynbayeva, analyzing the demographic development of Kazakhstan, drew attention to the relevance of the quality of human capital, which was reflected in an interview with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
