The Russian State University "Institute of State History" of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan accepts applications for the following vacant positions:

Leading Researcher

Job responsibilities:

  • A study of the history of independent Kazakhstan and public policy, including an analysis of the evolution of political institutions, the social system, the economic sphere and unifying ideas;
  • The study of Kazakhstan's historical ties with the world community, the analysis of modern mutual relations, a comparative study of the experience of the countries of the Eurasian space;
  • Analysis of Kazakhstan's development vectors in the modern global world, as well as Kazakhstan's positions at international summits and forums;
  • Preparation of analytical notes, practical recommendations and proposals for government agencies based on the results of ongoing research;
  • Development and implementation of the main directions of fundamental and applied scientific research, participation in international research projects;
  • Participation in the preparation and publication of collective scientific monographs, articles, methodological manuals on issues within the competence of the Institute;
  • Assistance in the preparation of semi-annual and annual reports of the department;
  • Promoting the formation of a positive image of the Institute, developing ties in the scientific community;
  • Organization and holding of international scientific and practical conferences, seminars, round tables and other events on issues within the competence of the Institute.

Qualification requirements:

  • Higher (or postgraduate) education in the relevant field of personnel training;
  • Academic degree of Doctor of Sciences, Candidate of Sciences or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the relevant field;
  • Availability of scientific papers and author's certificates in the required field;
  • Scientific and pedagogical work experience.
